What to include when you email support
A short, complete email is faster than a vague “it doesn’t work.” Write to support@unite.gay. Account email. Your display name if you remember it. The exact URL. Steps you already tried. Browser, device, and whether you are in the Android app or a browser. Screenshots. Hide other members’ personal data. For money: date, amount, last four digits or PayPal — never the full card. How to block someone
We do not advertise a site-wide block button on every screen. If you see Block on a member profile or in a message thread, use it. If you do not, report them instead — we would rather act than pretend a control exists. Open the member’s profile while signed in. Look for Block, Mute, or a similar control in the profile menu. If nothing is there, follow How to report a member and say you want no further contact. Leave any group where they are targeting you (How to leave a group

Not on your public profile: login email, password, payment details, and private messages. Group posts are visible to other members of that group. People who are not members should not see members-only feeds, the map, or events that sit behind sign-in. Search engines should not be treating your m
How we handle harassment
We act on harassment, hate, threats, impersonation, spam, and sexual content that was shared without consent. We do not referee every rude comment or dating disagreement. When you report, we read it, look at the account, and may warn, suspend, or remove the member. Typical first reply is within 1 business day; a full look can take up to 5. Urgent safety reports go first. We will not: publish the outcome to the group, hand you another man’s personal data, or take sides in a br
How to report a member
Report harassment, fake profiles, sexual images shared without consent, or anyone who seems under 18. We would rather read a careful report than let harm sit in a group. If the profile has a Report control, use it. Otherwise email support@unite.gay with subject Report a member. Include their display name, profile link if you have it, what happened, dates, and screenshots. Say whether you are in immediate danger. If you are, contact local emergency services first. We do not te
