Who can see your profile

Signed-in members can typically see your display name, photo, and the public parts of your profile, plus what you post in groups they belong to. That is how a community network works.

  • Not on your public profile: login email, password, payment details, and private messages.

  • Group posts are visible to other members of that group.

  • People who are not members should not see members-only feeds, the map, or events that sit behind sign-in.

Search engines should not be treating your member profile as a public homepage. If you find your profile indexed, send the URL to support@unite.gay. For how we process data, see How we use your data and https://www.unite.gay/privacy.
