App versus website: what is different

The website in a browser is the full Network. The Android app is a packaged way to open the same community. They are not two different products with two different member databases.

  • Browser: works on phones, tablets, and computers at https://network.unite.gay/. This is the path we support everywhere.

  • Android app: Unite Gay on Google Play, for members who want an icon on the home screen.

  • iPhone: no App Store app. Use the browser or add the site to the Home Screen.

If a feature exists on the website but not in the app, use the browser. Account, groups, map, and help articles all live on the web.
