I got a confirmation code by email. What do I do with it?

When you join, or when we need to check your email address, we send a short email called "Here is your confirmation code". It contains a 6-digit code. The code is meant for the website, not for a reply.

  1. Keep the Unite Gay Network page that asked for the code open.

  2. Open the email and copy the 6-digit code.

  3. Go back to that page and type or paste the code in the box.

  4. Confirm. You should be signed in or taken to the next step.

The code is valid for 15 minutes. If it has expired, ask the page for a new code and use the newest email.

Password reset emails work the same way. Open the email "Reset your password for Unite Gay Network", use the link inside to choose a new password, then sign in. Replying to it does not reset anything. See I forgot my password.

Never share a code with anyone, even someone who says they are from Unite Gay Network.

If the email does not arrive at all, see Email confirmation never arrived. If you did not ask for a code, you can ignore the email. If it keeps happening, see I get emails from Unite Gay Network but I never signed up.

Still need help?
